Third Eye Nuke and Sigur are kings of gore on Tale of Painters with their Black Legion and Heresy World Eaters respectively, but they have inspired me to experiment with mixing Tamiya Clear Red with Badab Black wash.  I started by just slapping it on to my Black Orc's axe and didn't really give it much thought, in hindsight I'm thinking streaking blood lines instead of pooling blood would be better on the blade. The shield I did try and put some logic behind it. It has pooling where it has been used as a blunt instrument and some spattering where it has shielded the boss from his victim being hacked by the axe. Also looking at the picture now, I'm thinking the face mask would benefit from some specks of spatter as well. Painting gore is not as easy as I thought it would be. Any thoughts?
