You really bring these Dreadfleet ships to life! They fit nicely with the sort of established schemes of the different armies, but have their own individual flair, rivaling the Studios. It is nice to see someone still working at the ships!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment, Godwyn. :) They're a fun project and I think that especially Dreadfleet works well as a secondary project. Let's say you paint an army of say ...10,000 Skaven ( ;) ). Any time you get bored with ratmen you can turn to Dreadfleet and do one ship or something.
ReplyDeleteFrom the feedback I get from these sets of DF I paint it almost seems like 75% of Dreadfleet sets still sit unpainted in thei boxes. With no other project I heard "I really have to start painting mine too" so often. Not excluding myself here too, my own set's also still on sprue. :D
