"I don't want excuses. I want the head of the Dwarf-king!" With Azog to answer to, these Hunter Orcs on foot are a determined horde of fighters. Close ups and group shots of Azog's entire warband after the jump!

If you want to paint a true army from the Hobbit range it has to be Azog and his Orcs. They're the only ones in it for revenge. They're not interested in treasure, or status. They just want to decapitate a Dwarf and kill stuff.

My Evil collection has grown really nicely over the past year. I love painting models from this range. I'm going to stick with the Evil theme and I've bought 3 boxes of Mirkwood Spiders which makes a total of six Spiders. Ideally I'd like 18 to be able to play the scenario in the Desolation of Smaug book. I think the next 12 spiders will be Forest Goblin Spider proxies mounted on spare 40mm bases. Stahly did suggest toy spiders which was a good idea but I fear the soft rubber and mold lines which plague children's toys won't work out well.

If you'd like to know how I painted these models (or any of the Hobbit models in my collection) check out this link
