Today I present to you lovely people a collection of my Walkers. I recently shared a showcase post of my fliers so I thought I would continue the series with models I own with the unit description 'Walker'. Check out the close-ups after the jump.
Now, before someone feels the need to correct me. I know the Grey Knight Dreadknight is a monstrous creature and that's why he doesn't feature in the close-ups below. I had to include in the above picture though because I felt it was an interesting scale comparison. Now with that out of the way, onto the pictures.
The latest Walker to join my collection is a Super Heavy. An Imperial Knight Errant. With a large blast melta weapon and a strength D chainsword this model is incredible.
Anyone who knows me will know I have a lot of Ultramarines, however my Dreadnought collection is relatively modest at only four strong. I have an Ironclad, two standard Dreadnoughts with Melta Cannons and a Venerable Dreadnought armed with a Plasma Cannon.
This classic 2nd edition Ork Dreadnought (more recently known as a Deffdread) is a another recent addition to my collection. With it's contemporary paint job I feel he will fit right in with my Orks from Stormclaw (when I get round to painting them).
My fledging Black Legion force features two walkers. A Helbrute and a Forgefiend.
Finally I have my Triarch Stalker. This is such an under rated kit. It's huge and an absolute bargain at only £30 and comes with a few weapon options. The front claws are on pivot joints as well so there is a degree of articulation as well.
Which is your favourite? What should I add next?
